This Anti‑Money‑Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) policy outlines how KheloSports/KheloSports88 protect user security, verify identities, and monitor transactions to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.


Objective of the AML Policy

Definition of Money Laundering

Money laundering refers to:

  • ➢ Acquiring, possessing, or using assets knowing they originate from crime.
  • ➢ Participation, facilitation, or assistance in money laundering acts.

These activities are considered laundering even if the original criminal activity occurred abroad.

Organizational Framework

KheloSports88 has a dedicated Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer (AMLCO) reporting directly to senior management.

  • All major policy updates require AMLCO approval.

Three-Step Verification Process

Step 1: Initial Verification

All users must complete Step 1 before withdrawals. Required information:

  • First and last name
  • Date of birth and country of residence
  • Gender and full address

Step 1 ensures account registration and payment details are accurate.

Step 2: Enhanced Verification

For KheloSports, deposits or withdrawals over USD 2,000 require Step 2:

  • Upload a photo ID with a six-digit code visible.
  • Automatic verification against two databases.
  • If verification fails, provide proof of residence (utility bill or government-issued certificate).

Step 3: Source of Wealth Verification

Users depositing or withdrawing over USD 5,000 or transferring over USD 3,000 must complete Step 3. Required documentation includes:

  • Source of funds (employment, business, inheritance, investment).

Accounts not verified will be held until documents are submitted.

Customer Identification (KYC)

  • Provide a passport, ID card, or driver's license with a handwritten six-digit code.
  • Submit a second photo showing your face with the ID. Non-essential details may be blurred.
  • All four corners must be visible, and key information must be legible.
  • KheloSports88 may request additional verification if needed.

Proof of Address

Accepted documents include utility bills, bank statements, or government correspondence issued within the last three months. High-resolution, clear scans are required.

Source of Funds

For deposits above EUR 5,000, users must provide documentation proving the origin of funds. Additional documents may be requested to ensure compliance. Non-compliance may result in account restrictions.

Risk Management & Regional Classification

KheloSports88 classifies nations into risk categories:

  • Region 1 (Low Risk): Standard three-step verification.
  • Region 2 (Medium Risk): Step 2 triggered at USD 1,000; Step 3 at USD 2,500. Cryptocurrency exchanges are treated as medium risk.
  • Region 3 (High Risk): Access is restricted. Risk regions are regularly updated.

Ongoing Transaction Monitoring

First Line of Control

Second Line of Control
